Structural Panels

 

Fibreglass structural panels are designed for use in all industrial applications where immense strength and stiffness is required. Fibreglass structural panels have been developed using varying thicknesses of fibreglass grating sandwiched between two layers of 6mm to 12mm thickness Fibreglass Solid Plate bonded to each side of the grating. The top fibreglass plate is usually supplied with agritted surface to give an excellent anti-slip surface. The bottom fibreglass plate surface is normally supplied smooth.

 

Fibreglass structural panels are manufactured with chemical resistant resin and includes a fibreglass gritted plate cover to any standard grating thickness. Fibreglass structural panels offer a strong, level surface for foot or wheeled traffic and provides approximately 30% higher stiffness values than open mesh grating. The standard grit-top surface provides perfect anti-slip flooring. Alternatively, a checker-plate top surface may be desirable where fork lift truck operations take place. The smoother surface will allow loaded trucks to turn more easily.

 

In addition to improving safety standards structural panels provides excellent chemical resistance, is easy to install, and offers long term durability. The gritted anti-slip surface has one of the highest degrees of slip resistance ever measured for a walking surface. Consideration should be given to installing Fibreglass Fabrications, Fibreglass Reinforced Plastics Drain Covers, Glassfibre Stair Treads, Glassfibre Steps, FRP Floor Grid, Moulded Grating, Fibreglass Construction and Non Slip Flooring.
